The eve of Independence Day 2006. Cultural dancers and singers performing on various stages in the main street of Asmara. Thousands of people dancing on the streets to celebrate Eritrea's number one National Holiday.
Nicest memory: "Hey, you are the guy that made the web pages telling about our country". Mary, an Eritrean woman from the United States visiting her beloved motherland with her fiancé John, recognized me from last years pictures. Makes me proud, and even more happy on this very special evening that I am sharing with the Eritrean people..
